Cost Accounting

Methods based on the estimation of costs associated with the good. Different options are available depending on the type of costs considered, including provision, avoided, replacement, and mitigation/restoration cost methods.
This type of methods is especially used in supply-side valuation assessments. Below can be found assessments (especially from the supply side) made within the PROVIDE Project using direct cost-based valuation methods. In most cases, the provision cost approach was selected.
